Kate Stellmach Freiert
My path to my current practice was anything but direct. Prior to law school I acquired skills working in administrative and retail positions, doing accounts payable and corporate financial work. I went to law school when I knew the next rung of the corporate ladder was not the right choice for me. After law school I acquired new legal skills working in corporate compliance and real estate law.
For more than nine years I have been enhancing my knowledge in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, elder law and small business formations. Fiercely independent from an early age I enjoy making estate planning simple and putting the tools and knowledge in my clients’ hands to let them make the best decisions for themselves and their families.
I am a graduate from Hamline University School of Law and the University of Minnesota Morris. I have been licensed to practice law in Minnesota since 2010. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband chasing after our daughter, co-leading a Girl Scout Troop, knitting, gardening and reading.
Stellmach Law
Kate is the one-woman crew of Stellmach Law. I am committed to providing high quality and individualized representation. No two clients or couples are alike, nor do they have identical concerns. My initial meeting with a client is a conversation for us to learn more about each other and to have time to discuss each client’s specific goals or concerns and how together we can best plan to meet those goals and alleviate worries.
